PETG 3D printing
PETG is the step up for functional parts: tougher and less brittle than PLA, with better resistance to moisture and many chemicals, and good adhesion between layers.

- Functional parts under load, such as brackets, mounts, gears and clips
- Parts that see moisture, cleaning products or damp environments
- Enclosures and covers that need to survive some abuse
- Parts that need a little give instead of snapping
What to know before you order
PETG is slightly more flexible than PLA, so very thin, tall features can feel less rigid. It softens at somewhere around 160–175 °F, better than PLA but well below ASA. It isn't the right pick for long-term outdoor sun exposure; ASA is built for that.
We can't certify any printed part as food-safe or medical-grade, so don't order parts intended for those uses.
How ordering works
Upload a 3MF, choose PETG and a color that's in stock, and get an instant price and print-time estimate. Follow the print once it starts, review photos of the finished part, and choose how it ships.
Common questions
Is PETG stronger than PLA?
For most functional parts, yes. It's tougher and holds up better to impact, heat and moisture, though it's a little less stiff.
Is PETG waterproof?
Printed PETG resists moisture well, but layered 3D prints aren't guaranteed watertight, so don't rely on a printed part as a seal.
